2012 NISSAN ALTIMA HYBRID CAR OF THE YEAR

Nissan Altima Hybrid, the time has come. In 2011 model year Altima Hybrid vehicles marks the last hurray. According to Kicking Tires, a little Altima Hybrid sales dismal in his life, mainly because the vehicle was sold only in a handful of states (those who stuck to more stringent emission standards of California), unlike its major competitors.

Originally launched in 2007, was the Nissan Altima Hybrid first foray into the gas-electric arena with a system derived from the Toyota Hybrid Drive. According to the EPA, the Altima Hybrid rated to 33 miles per gallon in combined driving. Not bad, but quite small when one considers that 40 mpg is the new benchmark.
