During the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show opening discussed Volvo CEO Stefan Jacoby plans to move the Swedish automaker apart from the rest of the premium segment. This does not mean that the quality of materials or workmanship will suffer, but instead of creating products that are specially designed to compete with the likes of Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, Volvo will endeavor to maintain its own identity the Swedish brand.
The Volvo S60 2011 points the way forward for the new foundation of the brand. The sedan "bad" news is elegant, luxurious and has the courage of a true sports sedan, but it just does not approach the kind of precision we find in an Audi A6 or BMW 3 Series. Well, then, that Volvo has many other impressive qualities to give it a unique advantage over its competitors. We consider it a premium sports sedan for people who do not want the stereotypical premium sports sedan.
